Wednesday 23rd April 2014 Celebration of World Book Night - join us for free books designed to get your reading 10.30 - 4.40pm.

Florrie withn Dylan, Nancy and cousin MaryMonday 28th April 2014 Celebration of Dylan's Mother's Day on International Welsh Mam's Day - Dylan's mother Florence Hannah Thomas was born on 28th April 1882 in St Thomas, Swansea. In 2012 the Dylan thomas Birthplace introduced Welsh Mam's Day and now we are moving on with new events. To celebrate the author and broadcaster Phil Carradice will launch his new book A Children's Dylan Thomas to children from Glyncollen Infants School.

In the afternoon (2.00 - 6.00pm) you are invited to Welsh cakes and tea and bring along memories of Mam's the world over. We are also celebrating another great Welsh Mam who lived at Number 5 - Muriel Davies -and we are collecting Mam's recipes for a new book with the proceeds going to the Mencap Friendship House which she helped set up.

Friday 6th June 2014 Lithouses Summer Conference Based at the Birthplace the Lithouses group brings together representatives from houses associated with the UK's biggest literary figures

Saturday 28th June 2014 Dylanathon photo marathon based in the Uplands and beyond a day long event in which participants have to interpret ten Dylan related themes over a ten hour period
